TRACEABILITY VIA BLOCKCHAIN

We at Ecoespin believe that transparency is one of the important steps toward a sustainable textile industry. To fulfil this commitment, Ecoespin follows four important steps to make a robust sustainable and transparent supply chain. The combination of these different approaches ensures a high level of transparency and verifies the origin of our fibers throughout the supply chain up to the finished garment.
  • An identification system for RPET using Fiber tracer technology at the initial stage of the production.
  • Downstream value chain track & traceability via blockchain
  • Supply chain collaboration, planning & data maintenance.
  • Fabric certification & identification system to trace the origin of the product.

BOTTLE TO SHELF

Polyester yarn made from 8 pet bottles from landfills can produce a t-shirt & can save 2700 litres of water. Our in-house blockchain technology can trace the raw material at various stages of the production process and ensures a transparent supply chain.

Bottle to shelf is such an initiative where the journey of the product from the raw material stage to the final product on the shelf can be mapped using blockchain technology. This helps to authenticate the credibility of the product and the data stored in the blockchain can be accessed to verify any information during the process.

FARM 2 SHELF

Farm 2 shelf’s main motto is to promote a farmer’s effort toward yielding the best organic cotton. By supporting a farmer, we in turn help retain our environment and society. Making a commitment to source more sustainable cotton requires more than signing a contract, setting fibre volume targets or pre sewing farmer’s agreement to stabilize the cotton price. It requires turning ambition into deliberate action by adopting a transformative new approach to sourcing and securing sustainable cotton where farmers can directly associate with brands. Ecoespin Fibre Traceability gives textile brands & suppliers a holistic vision of the supply chain at every step from raw fibre to the end product.

ECOESPIN FIBRE TRACER
